The AS608 Optical Fingerprint Scanner captures fingerprint images, converting them into unique identifiers. It can store up to 128 fingerprints and perform rapid matching (average <1.0 sec for 1:500 search).
Operating on 3.3V-5V DC with a working current under 120mA, it acquires images within 1.0 second (14x18mm scan size). It offers a security level of 5, with low False Accept Rate (FAR <0.001%) and False Reject Rate (FRR <1.0%) at security level 3. Communication is via UART.
