L2303HX USB To TTL Converter Cable, The cable is the simplest way to connect to the serial console port of your microcontroller/Raspberry Pi/WiFi router. A USB to Serial conversion chip is housed inside the large USB plug, and at the end of the 1M cable are four wires – red power, black ground, white RX into the USB port, and green TX out of the USB port.
The power pin receives 5V @ 500mA directly from the USB port, while the RX/TX pins are 3.3V levels for interfacing with most 3.3V logic level chipsets. This cable is ideal for powering and connecting to the debug/login console on the Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black due to the separated pin plugs.
